A client came in today, unfortunately she already signed a contract for sale with a sketchy company. Closing would be within ninety (90) days, but it could be sooner with only four (4) days’ notice to the Seller; only a $100.00 deposit, and a low purchase price. If the proposed buyer finds a party interested in purchasing the home, it will flip the contract to the third party and make the difference between the contract price and the assignment. If no proposed buyer is found, the company will walk away from the deal, wasting our client’s time. Your time and money are valuable, so protect yourself.
